The tears behind the mask

Okay, so a while back, my very dear friend, showed me her amazing drawing of her Xenoblade OC, Pate, who's is from her story posted on fanficion.net called Valkyrie . I really adored it and you should all definitely check it out!
However, the way she'd drawn it differed a-lot from the way Pate himself draws. I offered to draw this for her as a gift. Up until now it hasn't been posted for reasons of spoiler, but there is nothing to be done, as she has posted the picture she made herself.

As for the drawing, I took the pose from a base, but I can't locate it now, it has been taken down.
